The Bridal Shower (8/15/10)
The girls planned a lovely get together at Laurie Johnson's house. We ate, drank, chatted, and then moved on to paint pottery at Clay Cafe in Chantilly. It was a lovely time. Take a look at our efforts:

The Bachelorette Party (7/10/10)
The girls took me out to a very...interesting evening in Waldorf. It was a combined party for both Lori and I and we had a good time!

The Proposal (6/25/09)
It was my birthday and we went to dinner at a nice restaraunt near Rama's office and we had a lovely dinner. After dinner Rama told me that he wanted to go for a walk by Great Falls. I, of course, assumed that I knew where he was talking about and I directed him to a place I'd been before with my sister. It wasn't the same spot and it took at least 25 minutes of pretty hard hiking on a gravel and dirt path (in my high heels) to get to the waterfall (which you can see over Rama's shoulder in the picture below).

It was not the same spot and not the same waterfall! He'd had in mind a place where you simply drive up and get out of the car and there was the waterfall. That would have been great. But even though this was a hike, it was worth it!
